Talented Linguists Visit to Southampton

Our Year 10 linguists visit the languages department at University of Southampton.

On Thursday 13th June, a group of eight Highcliffe students went to a Year 10 study day for talented linguists at the University of Southampton.

Our students participated in French and Spanish music workshops, where they created their own band name and promotional posters, and had the opportunity to learn two new languages, either Chinese, Portuguese and/or Italian.

Everyone had a great time and came away excited about learning some more languages! Our thanks go to the University of Southampton for a fantastic and inspiring day!
