If the school is to be closed due to severe weather parents will receive a text message and email on the day of the closure.
The school will aim to send the message before 7:30am.
We will publish our closure, and any updates, on our school website so do please check this regularly in the event of a school closure.
We report our school closure to Dorset County Council who will add us to the list of schools closed due to extreme weather on: www.dorsetforyou.com.
They also inform local radio stations who regularly read out the names of schools closed due to extreme weather conditions.
Heart FM also list schools that are closed on their website (see: www.heart.co.uk/dorset).
