At the start of October, three of our students Joe, Tom and Megan Pink competed as part of the West Hants Pony Club at the Prince Philip Cup and Horse of the Year Show.
The Stable Cup is awarded after a whole week of judging at the HOYS on a wide variety of aspects; the children’s manners, how smart they are (both on and off their ponies), how clean their ponies, stables and tack room are, and then, as a finale, the children have to put on a show for the other five competing teams. This is a very prestigious cup taking into consideration the strict check-ups and inspections during the week.
West Hants Pony Club are now the proud winners of the Tack and Turnout Cup and after a very tough final, they are now the reserve Prince Phillip Cup champions. Congratulations to Joe, Tom, Megan and the rest of the team!
