New Sixth Form Leadership Team

It is the time of year again when the sixth form student body and staff elect the Year 12 students who will form the Sixth Form Leadership Team in for the coming year.

The quality of applications and the hustings speeches were of exceptionally high this year and the voting was very close. In the end the outcome was that Beth Allum becomes Head Girl and Nathan Smith Head Boy and in the paragraphs below they introduce themselves.

‘My name is Beth Allum and I have been a part of Highcliffe school since I joined as a Year 7 in 2010. It's scary to think that I've been a student of Highcliffe for over 5 years (almost a third of my life!), but I really believe it has been 5 years well-spent. Since I've been here I have had so many experiences that have made me who I am today: including being a part of the school's production of We Will Rock You, the French and Spanish Exchanges, 2015 Prom and even the dreaded GCSE exams, just to name a few. As Head Girl I hope to work with Nathan, with our deputies Chloe and Sami and with the school management team to make sure that the every student has the secondary school experience that they deserve for the next year and beyond.’

‘My name is Nathan Smith and I will be the head boy of Highcliffe school for 2016-2017, alongside the newly appointed head girl Beth Allum. I am currently studying Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Music. After finishing sixth form here at Highcliffe I hope to go on to study at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where I will start my journey into becoming an officer in the British Army. I am honoured and humbled to be chosen as the new head boy and I am excited to get started.’
