This was the first of many events in which parents, teachers and other members of the school community have raised money for the Friends of Highcliffe School projects.
The evening involved teams of up to 8 people competing in 8 ‘pub quiz’ style rounds. Thanks must go to all who attended and helped make the evening so much fun. As well as the quiz, Friends also ran a raffle on the night, which featured some brilliant prizes.
The overall winners of the evening were ‘The Noodles’ which was made up of Mr Earnshaw and members of the English Department, with the Expressive Arts team coming in a commendable second place. Well done to all teams who took part.
Thanks to all the members of Friends for their support in all aspects of organising the evening. A particular thank you to Mr Barnes for hosting the evening which raised £412 for Friends Projects.
The next meeting for the Friends Committee is on the 9th March at 6:30pm; all are invited to attend. If you are planning on attending please email Friends@highcliffeschool.com so that they are aware of expected numbers.
