EU Young Translator Competition 2015

On Thursday, 26th November five Sixth Form students took part in the prestigious European Union Juvenes Translatores competition.

Thousands of students from around Europe took part simultaneously. Only 70 schools were selected from the UK. The texts proved very challenging with a great deal of skill needed to translate them.

Well done to all of the students who participated. Only one winner is selected per country, so fingers crossed.

• Alberto Arevalo Delgado (English to Spanish)
• Lauren Govier (reserve) (French to English)
