Highcliffe School PTA & EasyFundraising Launch
Following the re-launch meeting on Tuesday 20th October there is now a new Highcliffe School PTA.
Thank you on behalf of all students, parents, and staff to those who attended the launch meeting and agreed to be the driving force. Over the coming weeks and months the PTA will become a steadily more visible group working on behalf of students in the school.
I have no doubt that all parents and carers will wish to support the PTAís fundraising activities by attending PTA events and/or donating money to the PTA.
An organising committee is meeting on Tuesday 3rd November and the first opportunity for parents and carers to see the PTA in action will be at the Year 7 Tutor Evening on Wednesday 4th November 2015.
The first fundraising activity by the PTA has been to put a link on the school website to the Ďeasyfundraisingí website.
Did you know that whenever you buy anything online - from your weekly shop to your annual holiday - you could be raising a free donation for Highcliffe School?
There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline.com, and Sainsbury's Ė it doesn't cost you a penny extra!
With retailers anticipating the largest online shopping demand ever in the run-up to Christmas, doing your shopping by going via the easyfundraising link first could raise a lot of money for Highcliffe School between now and 25th December 2015.
It is really simple, all you have to do is:
Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/highcliffeschool/ and sign up for free.
Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping.
After you have checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
There are no catches or hidden charges and Highcliffe School will be really grateful for your donations. Thank you for your support.
