Headteacher, Patrick Earnshaw said:
“A very warm congratulations to all our students. These grades are exceptionally good, as ever, and an improvement on last year. I’m especially pleased the numbers of Highcliffe students achieving the very highest grades has increased, bucking the national decline in those grades.

Thanks go to our students, staff and parents who have all worked so hard together to achieve these excellent results.

We are very fortunate to be working with a range of prestigious establishments including Oxford and Cambridge Universities, the Russell Group of Universities, The Arts University College Bournemouth, Bournemouth University, Southampton University, The Institute of Physics and the STEM network, all of whom help us to prepare our students so effectively for their chosen degree courses.

I would like to extend a special thanks to these partners.”

Anna Karanja, Director of Sixth Form was delighted with the results and said:
We again have a very high number of students going to University this year.  This includes our continuing trend of students progressing year on year to Oxbridge as well a wide range of the Russell Group of Universities and Medical School.

We are extremely proud of our students and it is excellent news. We are so pleased that 30% of our students gained A*/A grades or equivalent.

With nearly 75% of all grades at grade C or above we expect that most students will be taking their first choice University place. My congratulations go to all our students.
