Accompanied by Madame Walton and Frau Weidemann, Highcliffe School's International Super Group 'Rock Sans Frontières' were invited to Bath University last week for the National MFL Pop Video Competition Final.
We are very pleased to announce that during a very exciting Oscars style Awards Ceremony this year's entry 'Réunion en Réunion' was revealed as the overall winner of the Online Viewers Award 2015, storming to victory by an incredible 1145 votes over its nearest rival!
The song (which was written by James and Kathryn Moses as a tribute to the beautiful Indian Ocean Island of La Réunion) has received unprecedented levels of support with over 10,000 YouTube views so far.
'Rock Sans Frontières' were also invited to perform during the awards ceremony where they delivered a blistering performance of 'No Te Quiero Querer' - which was the winning song for Kathryn Moses and Megan Freeman in 2013. Performing in a great atmosphere, they were even joined on stage by one of the competition's previous winners - Ben Whitfield from St Bede's Catholic College.
There was then even more excitement as Kathryn Moses also won the South West Region MFL Public Speaking Competition (non-native KS5) for her Speech on the Eurovision Song Contest in Spanish. Tessa Rizzoli also gave a tremendous speech in German which wowed the judges and received a Certificate of Merit.
