Peer Mentor Training 2015

Students head off to Leeson House, near Swanage, to embark on their training.

Last week 18 newly appointed Peer Mentors attended their first of two training days at Leeson House in Langton Matravers, Swanage. They underwent training in different types questioning, confidentiality and mentoring techniques.

The sessions were very interactive and we were able to enjoy some of the workshops in the beautiful grounds at Leeson House in the sunshine. The students were very responsive, demonstrating a mature approach towards their new role.

They will play an integral part in the transition process of the Year 6 students over the coming months.
