Languages Pop Video Competition 2015 | Highcliffe School

Languages Pop Video Competition 2015

For the fourth year running, James and Kathryn Moses have been short-listed for the final of the prestigious Routes into Languages MFL Pop Video Competition.

Over the last four years, Highcliffe students have enjoyed a great deal of success in this competition.

In 2012, Sam Jackson and Sam Nailor won the 15-18 competition for best video and Kathryn Moses won the 11-14 category with her solo song, “Volvere”.

In 2013, James reached the final with his song “Bonjour, ça va?” and Kathryn Moses and Megan Freeman won the online viewers’ vote with “No te quiero querer”.

In 2014, James and Kathryn made the final four with their song “Le train de la liberté”, but unfortunately had to settle for runners up. They also narrowly missed out on the online viewers’ vote.

This year’s entry "Réunion en Réunion" their strongest entry to date and has a real international flavour with contributions from other Highcliffe students, such as Jack Ogden, Alberto Arevalo Delgado, Juan Marcos Garcia Carvajal and Tessa Rizzoli, as well as students from our Japanese partner school, Johoku. It was also filmed by one our Italian Sixth Form students, Francesca Losavio.

Please watch the video here….. and, most importantly, remember to vote for the students by voting for song 27 here…
