“Having seen close members of my family suffer from Parkinson's, I know how hard living with Parkinson's can be. With your help, I would like to raise funds to support the fantastic work that Parkinson's UK does. One person in every 500 has Parkinson's. That's about 127,000 people in the UK. There's currently no cure for Parkinson's and we don't yet know why people get the condition. Parkinson's UK supports people with Parkinson's and their loved ones. They also fund research into this disease and provide training and support for health care professionals. Parkinson's UK aims to give all those involved with this condition the chance to live their lives as best they can for as long as they can. As the charity says, "Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone".
