As well as exploring key aspects of the American and British film industries, the WJEC Film Studies course focusses on the analysis of a range of film texts including French New Wave cinema, a selection of British films from the ‘Swinging Sixties’ and contemporary American film. If you love film, this could be the course for you!
An integral element of the course is also a creative film project which seeks to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of film micro-features such as cinematography, editing, mise-en -scene and sound.
