Miss Riley sang a solo of ‘Stand By Me’ to a packed auditorium at the BIC who rewarded her impressive performance with a standing ovation. Miss Riley was then encouraged to conduct Malone’s choir the ‘Voices’ for the remainder of the song.
Miss Riley said that it was truly one of the most incredible experiences of her life and that Mr Malone had been a prominent source of inspiration to her over the years, she never dreamed that there would become an opportunity for her to sing with him on stage.
Miss Riley also stated that this is a great example of how wonderful and exciting live Music can be. It can bring people together and can create opportunities that you never thought were possible.
