Formal Friday

On Friday 2nd May, the Sixth Form were invited to attend school in formal attire for charity.

Staff were welcomed to do the same, but with a more humorous or traditional dress code. A nominal contribution of £1 was requested from participants, but due to many of Highcliffe’s generous students and staff, a great deal more was given.
The event was held in order to raise money and awareness for a cause that will, no doubt, have an impact upon each of our lives at some point. As a result of our efforts as a school, we managed to reach a total of £200 for Cancer Research UK.



The response we had, both in terms of those that took part and those that donated, was incredible. So on behalf of the Student Leadership Team, Holly and I would like to thank each of you for your heartfelt generosity. Not only that, but we hope to see even more people joining in with the next ‘Formal Friday’!
