Epsom Downs Oxbridge Conference

On Tuesday 25th March 2014 11 Year 12 students attended the Oxbridge Conference at Epsom Downs Race Course, Surrey.

This required an early start leaving Highcliffe at 6.45am. Once everyone had recovered from the long journey, students were keen to participate in the various sessions in the extensive function suites overlooking the race course.

The talks ranged from subject specific course information, how to write a competitive application, advice on finance and careers to Oxford and Cambridge explained. There were opportunities to ask questions to current undergraduates, professors and admissions tutors.
Students came away laden with prospectuses, leaflets and booklets and full of inspiration.

Whether the students decide to pursue an Oxbridge application or not, they now feel able to make an informed decision about their next steps.
