Tumbling Success

This year’s Dorset Schools’ Team Tumbling Championship, which took place at Rossmore Leisure Centre, saw Highcliffe enter 2 teams: a mixed team from Years 7 and 8 and a team of girls from Years 9 and above.

Five teams entered in the Years 7 and 8 competition and so we went straight into the final. The team performed very well, especially as some of its members had never competed before.  They kept their nerve and came away with the silver medal!

Congratulations to the Years 9 and above girls’ team too – they had to compete against ten other teams and despite an injury to one of the girls (sustained during the warm-up) they showed true team spirit and performed brilliantly!
