If Brynley is successful in these trials and is selected to run for the team this will mean he will be on a national training programme aimed at eventually bringing him through to the Olympic team, which is both an amazing opportunity and recognition of his progress in the sport.
Over the summer Brynley won the South West Championships held in Burnham-on-Sea. Additionally he rose to the position of British number 7. He has been offered not one but two major sponsorship deals. This is highly unusual for a rider who has only just completed his first season of nationals.
This will now mean a whole new chapter for Brynley as these achievements have qualified him to go on to race in the ‘Worlds’ next season.
