Over 600 students took part in the event. All Highcliffe students ran to the best of their ability and all completed their races. Some notable successes were from Years 10 and 11 - Corey Norton (8th), Joe Mondino (11th ), Brendon Kirkton (17th ), Sam Baker (23rd ) and also in Year 9 - Joseph Swain (16th ). All students who finished inside the top 20 were invited to represent Dorset in the forthcoming South West England Championships.
Most of all we must congratulate the intermediate boys team(Year 10/11) which went on to win the County Team Competition (Corey Norton , Joe Mondino, Brendon Kirkton, Sam Baker). This really is a major achievement, especially given the quality of the opposition as can be seen from the top five placings listed below. Well done, boys! A fantastic performance!
