There has been a temporary exhibition of German music posters down the MFL corridor for two weeks in November.

This was a “travelling exhibition” sponsored by the Goethe Institut. In 16 large A2 posters it covered the different styles of music in a very vibrant German music scene in which Pop, Techno, Hip Hop & Indie all feature. Several students won a “Musik + X” T-shirt and the accompanying DVD has been used in German classes to dispel any misconceptions anyone might have had about modern German music. Leonie Gruber, the German assistant, gave her own take on it in a seminar delivered to the year 12 students.
