We are very pleased to report a significant increase in the number of students joining Highcliffe Sixth Form in September. We were delighted to welcome our new Year 12 students recently. Students have settled in well and taken advantage of the wide range of academic and enrichment opportunities available to them.
A level results were exceptionally good this year, with 27% of students gaining A* and A grades and over 50% of all grades being A*, A or B. Due to the outstanding levels of success this summer, most students progressed successfully onto their first choice Higher Education institution or Career area, with many securing places at the most prestigious universities.
Congratulations go to all our students but in particular to Heidi Barnett who achieved A*A*AA at A level and gained a place to read Physics at Oxford University, Samantha Millard who achieved A*A*AAB at A level and secured a place to read Economics at Cambridge and Jenny Herrod who gained a place to read Medicine at Peninsula Medical School having achieved A*AA at A level.
Other high achieving students who gained at least 3 A*/A grades and heading off to university include Yasmin Dowling, Carys Gallagher, Amy Gilbert, Stephen Hutt, Jay Pocknell, Tom Smith and Phil Sparks.
We are extremely proud of all our students and wish them every success in all their future ventures!
