Year 7 choir sing at Somerford Community Centre

Highcliffe Year 7 Choir were given an exciting performance opportunity this Christmas season.

As part of the Public Health & Wellbeing programme for Christchurch and East Dorset Council, the Somerford Arc Community Centre organises a Christmas lunch for older members of the community who can feel particularly isolated at this time of year. The Year 7 Choir were invited to sing a selection of Christmas carols during this event.

Our students brought a smile to the audience many of whom joined in with some of the more well-known carols. Jonah and Francis handed out sleigh bells and tambourines to the audience during ‘Jingle Bells’ and by the end of the set everyone was singing in the true festive spirit.
