Photography Christmas Card Competition 2018
Students enter competition hoping their design will be picked to be the official Highcliffe Christmas Card
This year Highcliffe School ran a Photographic Christmas card competition. Students had to take and edit their own Christmas themed photograph adding a festive message. The winning cards will be the official Highcliffe School Christmas cards for 2018.
Many students attended a series of after school workshops on a Tuesday and made use of the studio lighting and digital camera facilities in the Da Vinci building. The competition had entries from Years 7-13 featuring a wide range of subject matter including still life, landscapes, close ups, novelty and animal photography.
The high standard of interesting and creative work made it tricky for Mr Earnshaw to judge and in the end he picked two winners, Holly from Year 10 and Emily from Year 12.
Well done to all students who entered and look out for more photography competitions next year.
