Success for Maia in British Championship Final

Maia enjoyed superb success at the weekend, reaching her first ever British championship final.

Maia attended her first ever British Squash Championship Final and this year’s venue was Nottingham, which saw Maia compete over three tough days with the best of British battling for the prestigious title.

In her first year in the under 17 age group, Maia overcame stiff competition dropping just one game on her way to the final. The final was played at a very high level with England squash coaches complementing Maia’s rackets skills and continued improvement. She emerged proudly as runner up.

All this and she has over a year left in her age group, unlike the other top 5 players, who were much older.

    Well done Maia!
