Highcliffe School Gets To The Heart Of The Matter!

Our Mufti Day held on 7th April raised an incredible £1066.48! This has enabled the school to buy a second defibrillator and donate £631.11 to the British Heart Foundation.

Using training kits provided by the British Heart Foundation, our Medical Officer, Mrs Thompson, led CPR training sessions to all Sixth Formers in March and training sessions to staff and students from younger year groups are now in progress.

Thank you to all those students and staff for donating £1 each on Mufti Day, your generosity really does make a difference to people’s lives.

“We are delighted that Highcliffe School chose to support the British Heart Foundation through their mufti day raising a fabulous £631.11! It is only thanks to the enormous generosity of people like you, that we can continue funding our life saving research. Every pound raised will help bring us a step closer to beating heart disease, so we’re incredibly grateful for your support.”  -  Victoria Carswell, BHF Fundraising Manager – Dorset & Somerset
