Outstanding Netball Success!

The year 10 netball team competed in the county netball finals in March

It was always going to be a tough tournament with lots of well-established teams from both grammar and fee paying schools in Dorset. Our Highcliffe team were placed in the most difficult draw with Canford School and Bryanston school. The girls made a good start and were delighted with their 9-1 win over Bryanston. They continued to play well, only losing to 2 teams. The girls were delighted to find out at the end of the group games that they had reached the semi-finals. This was a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. They faced Sherborne School in the semis and played well only losing by a few goals. This meant that the girls achieved 3rd place overall. This is by far the best netball team the school has ever had and their success has been outstanding!!
